Farm to Market Road 2978 (FM 2978) is a farm to market road in Harris and Montgomery counties, Texas.〔
==Route description==
The southern terminus of FM 2978 is at just east of the Tomball city limits. The road travels north along Hufsmith–Kohrville Road, through the community of Hufsmith and along the western boundary of The Woodlands. The northern terminus is at near the unincorporated community of Egypt.
